HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASHLEY!!!!

I get to wish another special person a happy birthday today. My wonderful, fun, kind, nice, outgoing, great, funny, loving sister, Ashley. I could go on and on about her, but I won't...lol...She is one of the best sisters that I have. She is always there for me when I need her. She is my best friend. I am so lucky to have a sister like her. We have so much fun when we are together. We have been through a lot together and have stayed very close our entire life. It is funny how sisters fight when you are kids and we did do that. Then came college and we ended up being roommates in the dorm. That was some of the best times I think we ever had. Then another great memory was my wedding day. I had the best maid of honor I could ever ask for. Ashley was awesome!!!

So, Ashley this post is def. for you. I found lots of pictures of you. I hope you enjoy them all. Thank you so much for being such a great sister. I love you so much. I can't wait to make many, many more memories with you

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AARON!!!!!

I wanted to wish a certain someone a very happy birthday. This is to my nephew Aaron. He is quite a little character if you have had the chance to meet him. He is a very funny boy. He can most of the time be the life of the party....lol.. I love him so much and have so much fun with him. He is always a great joy to be around. He is getting so big, too fast. I can remember when he was just a little boy, but those days are def. over with.

Almost anyone you ask will tell you that I love to take pictures. I know I am not good at it, it is just a hobby that I like to do. So I will take pictures of almost anything. Here are some from last month.

Thank you very much, Bridget.(side note about Bridget, her and I have never met, she seems very, very sweet and looks like a lot of fun. I love how her family and friends are so important to her, just like mine) Now all I have to do is pass this award along to 5 other fabulous blogs and also write about 5 things that I am obsessed with right now.

5 things that I am obsessed with....

1. Facebook!!!!!!!!!!!! enough said....lol... I am on there ALL.THE.TIME. I don't know why, but I just am.

2. My cats. They are pretty much my life, next to my husband of course...lol.. I have said it before and I say it again, they are MY KIDS. Therefore I sort of treat them that way and they love it.

3. My straightener(flat iron), whatever you call it. My lovely sister, Ashley gave it to me and I try to use it almost every day. I do a terrible job using it and straightening my hair, but I still love it...lol

4. 88.1 (I think that is the station) It is WBGL, a Christian station. I like it a lot. I listen to it almost all day long at work. It makes me feel good and I know most of the songs.

5. Orbit Sweetmint gum. I don't leave the house without it. It is always in my purse and I buy it in the 3 pack. I put gum in my mouth right after I eat most of the time. This is the gum I have been chewing for a long time now and I seriously think I am addicted to it.

Baby Owl

I guess we had some wind last night. The neighbors said they heard a loud noise around 3 in the morning...................

a baby owl. him and his siblings and mama had been living in that part of the tree that fell down

he was shaking and shivering and freezing, so Jason built him a nest with leaves and limbs at the bottom of the tree

then he picked it up and put it in there

hopefully he will be safe for a while. We are wondering if the mama owl came back to get the baby tonight, if not I don't know what will happen to it, because the tree is possibly getting taken down in a week or so



So this is a little story about baby owl.....I hope you like it...lol

I don't even like owls, but Jason and I both knew we couldn't keep it out like it was. So he wants people to know that he saved the baby owl's life...lol

Fall....I love it and I hate it

Fall has always been my favorite season of them all. A couple years ago or so, I took tons and tons of pictures of different tress in Mattoon. I ended up printing them off, but I don't plan to do that this year. So I will just take a few pictures and possibly post them on here. I hope you enjoy them. The tress and leaves and weather are why I like fall. The last picture is why I am not liking fall so much right now.
