Catch Up Time

It has been two months since I have blogged. I have no good excuses, just that I haven't gotten around to it. I have said it before and I will say it again, Facebook is my place to let out all my feelings, to rant, to stay in contact with everybody, etc., etc.....but....there is still one very special person that has yet to turn to the facebook addiction, that is my lovely Mother. So..this is one of the ways she stays up to date with me and what is going on. Although we do talk at least once a week and of course text often and email, she does read my blog and boy do I hear about it when I have not updated for quite some time....lol..jk...






Anyway....







I thought I would start off with a catch up session, what's going on in my life and just random thoughts at the moment. Hopefully I will come back soon and add some pictures.

*It is hot!!!!...in case you didn't know and if you live somewhere that it is not hot, but I think the majority of the U.S. seems to be having the same problem.





*It has been so hot, I think we need to invest in a new central air unit, I think ours is way too small for our house, the house stays cool, but the air runs pretty much the entire evening after we get home.





*Still loving my job, I am still at Solix CMR in Charleston, Call Center Agent, yes it is a telemarkting place and yes, I like it. Most of my calls are inbound, so don't worry I probably won't call you.





*Speaking of job, Jason is still at R.P. Lumber, I won't say he loves it though. He is outside most of the time, even in the 100 degree weather, I feel so sorry for him.





*The kids, 'cats' are doing good. Still just laying around all the time, but we love them anyway.





*Travis Tritt was at the Bagelfest in Mattoon last weekend. Ashley, her boyfriend and myself all went. He was pretty good. He was me and ashley's first concert in 1995 I believe. He is one of her favorite country singers, so she was so excited to see him again.





*The bagelfest is like a mini-fair, so I was able to get me a corndog and strawberry shake-up...love them both!!!!





*Wedding shout-outs, In June we got to see Holly and Chris get married and this month we were able to go to Edwardsville for Jason's cousin, Michael's wedding to his fiance, Ashley. Next month, we head to Marshall for my friend Kim's wedding to her man, Ben. I think I have a couple more after that also. I love weddings and receptions....so much fun!!!!





*I'm having an addiction to the candy Hot Tamales, not sure why, but I am going through a box a week. I love them cinn. things so much!!!



*I have had my car for a year now, thanks to Christina. I am still very thankful for her



*I am still reading the Sookie Stackhouse series, I am getting ready to start Book 8. I love those books and the show, True Blood. Just wish I had HBO so I could watch them while they are on.



Well, I do believe that is all I have for now. I hope to be back soon and post some pictures.

Happy Birthday Sasha!!!

I wanted to send out a birthday wish to my little girl, Sasha!!! Her 4th birthday was on Sunday. I haven't had a chance to post it until now, plus I sort of forgot about it on Sunday. With us having a family thing, it just kind of slipped my mind. I remembered it yesterday. Today, Jason was off and they celebrated, with some treats. We really only call her Sushi. She is quite a character, she 'talks' all the time, she eats just about anything that you give her, and also begs like a dog does. We love her lots and would be lost without her.

Happy Birthday Bailey Joe!!!

I had another birthday to blog about. My little boy, Bailey Joe turns 6 years old today. He is such a sweet little boy, I love him so much. He is so funny, he is mostly lazy and just lays around a lot, but once in while will play with his toys and wrestle around with his sister. Wishing him a great birthday(I'm sure we will celebrate with him and Sasha eating their favorite, Tuna)and many, many more.

Reading!!!!

I'm way behind on updating my blog about the books I have read and am currently reading. I think the last book I posted that I was reading was the third book in the Twilight Saga, Eclipse. I did finish that one and the last book, Breaking Dawn. I wanted to continue reading something that I thought was interesting, so I started the Sookie Stackhouse Series, which are the books that led to True Blood, on HBO. I love True Blood, but I have to admit the books are way different than the shows, I am still enjoying reading them though. I am just on the second book, so still have a few more to read.

Happy Birthday Kierstyn!!!!!!

Huge birthday wishes go out to my wonderful niece, Kierstyn!!! This girl is so awesome. I love her so much!!! She is so much fun to be around and can always make me laugh. I just can't believe she is 15!! Seems like just yesterday, I was holding her when she was a little bitty baby. Now, she is a beautiful young woman. More great traits she has are...nice, friendly, outgoing, funny, smart, a great sister to her brother, a great daughter to her parents, a great granddaughter to her grandparents, a great niece to her aunts and uncles, a great cousin to her cousins, a best friend to many of her friends and also a great girlfriend to her boyfriend. I could go on and on, but I better stop for now. Kierstyn, Jason and I hope you had a great birthday and we wish you many, many more. I wanted to send a very special Birthday wish to one of my best friends, my mother, Brenda. She is the best mom I could ever ask for and I love her so, so much!!!! She is both a great mother and a great friend. I have always been able to talk to her about anything and everything. She is always there for me when I need her. I love any and every time that we get to see each other and spend some time together. We always have fun and make many memories, like the picture below. The best day of my life, with my mom right by my side. I know she is reading this, so MOM, this is all so very true and you know how much you mean to me!!! You are the best, the kindest, most gentle, fun, loving, wonderful, outgoing, happy person, the list goes on and on. I love you so much!!! I wish you many, many more great birthdays. Happy Birthday Brad!!!

I wanted to send out another Birthday wish to a great guy, my step-daddy Brad Koehler. I didn't have any recent pictures of him to put on here, I will have to try to take some today and get them on here. Well today marks another great person having a birthday, my younger sister, Ashley. She turned 27 today. She is the youngest of all the kids, the baby, the spoiled one, the outgoing one and fun one. Among many other great qualities. Ashley has it all. So much fun to hang out with and be around. We can laugh about stories all night long. We have so much fun when we are together. I think she really enjoys coming over to our house and hanging out with Jason and I.

So I want to wish her a great Birthday with many more to come. I hope you had a great day today and we will continue to celebrate on Thursday, Friday and Saturday...lol...We love you very much!!!

Happy 12th Birthday today to a great nephew, Aaron!!! He is becoming quite a great young man. He is maturing so much right before our eyes. Aaron is so fun to be around and I love every minute that I get to spend with him. I think everyone thinks the same thing. I hope you had a great birthday, Aaron and can't wait to see you. Really Sick or Hypochondriac?!?!

Sorry I'm not being mean on purpose, but am I the only one that has friends that go to the doctor all the time? Or go to the ER, or take their kids to the ER for something small? I rarely, ever(knock on wood) am sick or even if I am I don't ever, ever go to the doctor. I just get sick(haha..I made a funny) and tired of hearing it from everyone and their moaning and groaning about having a cold and they go to the doctor or go to the ER. Seriously people, do you either have great insurance? or no insurance? what is it, the Medical card? I do know those can be good to have, but I think some people are def. taking advantage of them.

Sorry, enough ranting for now, just had to get that off of my chest.

Happy Anniversary Mom and Brad!!!!

I wanted to wish a very special couple a Happy Anniversary tomorrow(Monday, October 25) My mom and step-daddy are celebrating 13 years of wedded bliss. I wish them many, many more years. I love them both very, very much. I hope you guys have a great day. I also hope that you had a wonderful weekend away.

30!?!?!?

Well, here it is, I made it to 30 and surprisingly I didn't cry. I figured I would wake up and ball my eyes out, but luckily I didn't. It does feel good to be 30!!! I want to thank everyone for all the birthday wishes on my very special day. It means a lot to me that I have so many family and friends out there that care about me. I love you all very much!!!! I can't wait until Saturday night where we can all celebrate together. It is going to be so much fun!!!!

I didn't get a chance yesterday to wish, my very best friend and soul mate a very Happy Birthday!!!! My husband celebrated his 35th birthday. He is one of the greatest people I know and I love him very much. He is a great husband and father to the four legged kids. He is a Mr. Fix It, a lumber jack at work, knows all about cars, can completely re-do a bathroom, can paint walls, ceilings and furniture, is a great cook, and many, many more. His abilities are endless, and he is all mine!!!! He is the best body builder I know and quite good looking if I say so myself. Overall, he is just THE BEST!!!!!

Happy Anniversary Lisa and Scott!!!

I wanted to send a very special Happy Anniversary to my sister, Lisa and her husband Scott. They are celebrating 16 years of marriage. I think that is wonderful. They are two great people that I love so much!!! They would both do anything for me and for their entire family. I wish them many, many more years of happiness together.

So, I've been doing some thinking....

*Is it willy worm or wooly worm? I can't remember which it is. Whatever it is, I saw 82 of them the other day on the way to Effigham. Some were light, some were dark. What do the colors mean? I forgot.

*There is a toliet on the side of the road, somewhere between Windsor and Mattoon. It has been there all week. I have wanted to stop and take a picture, but I just can't make myself do it.

*Also while driving, yesterday, there was a 'stuffed' animal Spongebob Squarepants in the road. And sad to say, I accidently ran it over...so sorry for all Spongebob fans out there.

*Speaking of Spongebob, did anyone see the Spongebob movie that came out years ago, the one with David Hasselhoff(sp)? That was a funny movie, I remember going to it with Lisa, Ashley, Kierstyn and Aaron, I think Scott may have went too.

*Speaking of David Hasselhoff(sp), aka The Hoff, did anyone watch him on Dancing with the Stars? I will just say, I am glad he was the first to go. I didn't think he was that good.

*Speaking of DWTS, who is your favorite so far? I liked Audrina and Bristol, well and Jennifer of course. I don't know that I will watch it often, I just ran across it online and decided I might give it a try.

*I'm having a garage sale on Saturday, I hope it goes well.

*Oh, here is a good one for you all. I am still working out at Curves 3-4 times a week, well today, I sort of kind of went to DQ after my workout for a little treat...a choc. shake and oh my gosh, it tasted oh so good!!!! Guess I'll just not eat any supper and go back tomorrow and work out even harder.

*Sometimes I have thought of the number 13 as lucky, well today marks 13 days until the dreaded 3 0 birthday...:( I'm so sad about this!!!

*Speaking of birthdays(sorry had to use that line,'speaking' one more time), Jason's 35th birthday is this Saturday.

*I think that is all I have for now, until next time....peace out....(sorry haven't used that line forever)
